Haibun: Feasting On A Peach

As with lace, Autumn’a breeze perfectly weaves together the there and not there, designed for delight. Yet when arriving with a little more force she arrives fully, only to reveal the delicious harvest that was just covered. And someplace the last leaf comes to rest on an orchard floor. 

Autumn is for eating an apple, a pear, or the messiness of sticky fingers from feasting on a peach at one in the afternoon.

other colors sown, like lace.
