Haibun: Sea, the Sky

Tormented, but gazing off into the deep blue sky of the desert, like a ship without an anchor, she escapes. She feels the freedom only an untethered object feels as it drifts away.


pure blue skies so vast
seas up above, cast. “so blue.”
